Only reason to go for LED in my opinion is if heat is an issue: refrigerated case for cool growing. In all other cases t5ho is great.

The plant is not that rare. The local orchid greenhouse has a few left and I saw more varieties at the yearly big orchid show.

2 t5ho for lower light cattleyas (sophronitis), dendrochillum
3 t5ho for plants that can take punishment.
