Great information! I used a dremel to put holes in plastic deli containers using some of the same techniques. Now, I know how to drill into glass.

I've been reading up on S/H culture and have the supplies, but I still have a question (and probably more).

Am I right in thinking that pot size isn't as critical as with a "normal" medium? ...

I think you'll be fine. I lower my heat to 64* at night and none of my plants have a problem. Just let the house warm up and hopefully that one will perk up.

Plants do remarkably well when shipped if packaged properly and moved quickly in mild weather. MissB, as you alluded to, keep the precious one(s) in your possession and ship the others.(?)
