What is this (on the spike)
Hi, rookie here...so my phal recently grew a spike for the first time since ive had it (2 yrs). I see little flower pods but lower on the spike is a mitten looking thing which appears to be another...

Hi,
So I got this phal over a year ago. It's done very well..The blooms fell off after I had it for 3 months so I cut the spike below the last node and put cinnamon on it. The spike always stayed...

Does this need repotting?
I now have 2 orchid "children" hee hee! My fiance brought another home for me. This one looks very healthy but the roots are everywhere...is this normal? Does it need repotting? See pics below....wow...

Thanks for all your quick replies. Wow now I noticed there are bugs in the moss!! They look like some sort of gnat! Some of the moss appears soggy/bad...I'm thinking I should repot it in that bark...

Should I cut this leaf off?
Hi! One leaf on my plant had a black spot when I received it as a gift. The spot was black and dry, with some yellow around it. Now the blooms have fallen off, a new leaf is sprouting at the bottom...
