I want one, but I'm not sure I see the point in making them glow in the dark, other than it's a fun novelty factor?

You only get to see the one white/green color in the dark which would be the same on every orchid.

20 years from now will there be shows held at nighttime where they turn the lights off for the judges to judge the glow in the dark category?

I wonder also if this could ever get out into nature? Can you imagine glowing forests across the world visible from space like big glow in the dark blobs?

You can save on night lamps. ALso, it will be helpfull if electricity goes down.

I don't this plant has a registered name, so it is a noid...Cool plant but I'll don't really want one.

They should make paph venustum glow! then it would really be an alien paph with that 'mars attack' pouch

I want one as part of my personal collection. Hmmm .... singapore and taiwan/china isn't so far from here (my next door neighbor) .... cool to be able to have one even just a sample.
