Looking for photos of Anguloa Madouxiana

The anguloas are waking up!

In a previous post, I discussed the development of Uniflora. I was fortunate enough to obtain a capsule, which is currently in development.

It's Anguloa madouxiana (Uniflora x xruckeri). The only thing I've been able to find are some old paintings.

Does anyone have any photos of this hybrid?

I don't have any personal photos but I did find some using Google. Quite a few photos were of different Anguloa, but I did find three or four of the Madouxiana with an Orchid Roots link but no picture on the site itself.

That's right, Orchidroots has photos of some of X Madouxiana's ancestors.

So far, the only "photo or image" I've found is this painting attributed to Linden.

I know there are many species from that era that are lost or mislabeled. However, I can't find a photo of this cross anywhere.

This painting could even be of a xruckeri, which would be even sadder.
Since there would be no record of this crossbreeding.

Sometimes life surprises me in ways that leave me speechless.

Somehow or another, while wandering around the internet, I came across this website.

It turned out to be a very valuable source of information. I loved its design. But I found this curious gem.

Looks to me like there may be something else, perhaps some pink Anguloa uniflora lurking somewhere in its pedigree. Regardless, it's a beautiful plant."
