Pots, medium, space, water, time, etc, etc.
You may start a business but, given the orchids' low growth rate, it will need a few years to take off.
Or be prepared to put them in the trash bin.

howdy!

checked out the website real quick, but otherwise we have no experience with this company or their products. although i can't seem to find any flow hoods or other large equipment like that? looks like they produce media?

so you want to do tissue culture and not seed propagation? do you already have a flow hood and the other equipment you would need to do tissue culture if that's what you are wanting? not totally sure, but i believe for tissue culture there are other things that need to be done that are above the needs of seed flasking.

on the face of it, i personally am always wary of products that can be made simply but that are hyped up with fancy packaging. as others commented, from the prices i just saw, you could get "comparable" media for a lot cheaper. but who knows, perhaps the media these guys sell is truly some magic formula, but you would probly want to get media from several outlets and compare the results. also, my impression is that this is the sort of place that large scale labs buy from, so they can get the stuff at cheaper rates due to order volumes. but again, total speculation on my part.

lab stuff aint cheap, and the media isn't usually either, but i think both could be had cheaper from other sources. plus, their bundles aren't super complex or large, so sourcing the materials separately wouldn't take you a whole lot of effort. dunno, try their stuff and report back!!

I use their plant protection mixture in my media. It’s a biocide that wards off bacteria and fungi. I haven’t seen any flasking machines, it’s fairly manual process.

I have not ordered from them, but I know a few people on the commercial nursery side of things that use their PPM product with good results in woody plant propagation. The bio couplers look cool, but are a bit spendy for what you’re getting in my opinion, annd unless you’re doing some kind of multiplication project, not sure how much you’ll get from them in a seed sowing situation. Everything else seems a bit over priced. A lot of folks flask into cheap deli containers that are easily acquired at nearly every restaurant supply/cash and carry/Smart N Final etc. Look at phytotech labs for media and nutrients, seems to have much better pricing.
