Is Epidendrum Ballerina a hybrid or a variation
Default Is Epidendrum Ballerina a hybrid or a variation

I cannot seem to find its parents mentioned anywhere even though it says everywhere that is it a hybrid. Being such a popular orchid I'd have thought this information would be more readily available. So know I'm starting to think that it might be just a variation of epi. radicans. I don't know...
Does anyone have any idea about this matter?

Also I had noidea where to post this , here seemed like the best place to do so. So Moderators, please feel free to move this thread to where you think it might be

This one appears to be a mystery. The International Orchid Register shows absolutely no info at all. Unknown parents, registrant and originator, yet it is in the Register of plants.

Oups!! It seems I made a double post of this thread. Just noticed! Could one of the mods remove this one as more people replied to the other one?

Terry: yup! It's a mystery. Doubly so since it's not just an obscure orchid only 5 people know about. Someone suggested in the other thread that I contact RHS and see if they could give me more info. I'm planning on doing just that. I'll come back with their answer if I get one.
