I just purchased a very small flask of Psychopsis versteegianum at Redland's Orchid Festival, and I'm not sure what my next step is. The seller I purchased it from had a little bit of a language barrier, so it was a buy-and-go.

The flask is dated 4/16, so it's been a bit over a year since it's been started. My issue now is, do I leave everything in the flask? This is only my third flask and I've opened the others once I bought them. What type of conditions should I keep the flask in? Right now I've got it sitting with my other orchids on my patio. My instinct is to open the flask and put everything in a humidity tray/box type with a touch of spag moss (fungicide and all too).

I've never grown this plant. What you describe is the usual method, but I don't know how big they should be when you do it.
