P. lobbii x P. violaceae hybrid
What do you guys think? Is it possible to have this hybrid? P. lobbii x P. violaceae hybrid
I cross pollinated tonight and have already lost patience. I want seeds already!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

It's not as though you're attempting an intergeneric hybrid so I'd expect it to work.

My experience with phal crosses is that the stigma will engulf the polonia in about 2-3 days. That will be your 1st sign. 5-7 days after the flower may start wilting a little, and more so as the capsule(ovule) swells and forms. Being that P. violaceae is a major contributor to many phal hybrids, I'm almost surprised such a cross has not been attempted yet!
