Yes absolutely, I'd be glad to do it! Just keep in touch and update me on the pod's progress.

I have some new seed pods of a Brassavola Nodosa if you are interested. When should they be "harvested"?

I would be EXTREMELY interested! Brassavola is my all time favorite orchid! How long has it been since the flower died following pollination? Brassavola need to ripen about 4-5 months. Would really like to hear back from you, thanks for posting!

I just noticed them today and remembered your posting. I would say they are about a month old since they are well-formed but still very green. I'll keep an eye on them for you and maybe send you some photos so you can see their progress.

I have a seed pod from a self pollinated Potinara Memoria Irene Feil 'Ruby Red' that's ready and I'm going to try flasking for the first time using simple materials but would love a guaranteed flask. How long do seedpods keep. I've had the dry pod and seeds in the refridgerator for about 2-4 weeks or more. I'm wondering if the seeds are still viable.....

I'd love to give them a shot! I don't know if the fridge is the best place for dried seed... The moisture of the air would lead to me stay away from that. If the seed is to be dried, then it should be kept properly dry. I'd just pour the seed into a piece of wax paper, fold it up, and keep it in a dry cool cabinet.

WAY too many variables to ever know if seed is viable. The best bet is to just sow it and see what happens! Let me know if you'd like my address to send me some of the seed, I'd be glad to give it a whirl!

If you are still looking for seed pods I have Laelia Fournerei and a Vanilla. I also have a Renanthera that is about to flower which I would like to propagate.

I have a dry Myr. Tibiana x self, and a still on the plant green Epi. magnoliae x self (parent plant was wild/collected from deadfall) that you can have if you want. I wouldn't need anything back.
The magnoliae is probably 2-3 months old right now. It looks HUGE on that puny plant though lol. I was going to discard it but I remembered seeing your post.
