Now I've seen the links. I had to log in via the Internet. Using Tapatalk on my iPad didn't show the links. It's strange cause I've been able to see links before

The keiki keeps on growing steadily. It's even growing a new leaf and between the first and the second leaf there's something growing as well, but it's impossible to get that on a picture.

This is how the "crown keiki" looks like today. The new leaf has grown considerably, but no signs ot roots at all.

Wow that's pretty unbelievable! I've never seen a spike give off a keiki after being cut from the plant. Very neat!

I was very surprised myself.
The Keiki is still alive. At this point it has consumed all the nutrients from the spike. When the spike turned brown I trimmed most of it off - leaving few inches on each side of the Keiki. To promote root growth, I put the portion of the Keiki into one of those plastic cups with rooting gel medium.

So far there has been no progress. It has no roots and only one leaf. Yesterday I had put the whole thing into a 10 gal terrarium I have just set up. Hopefully the extra humidity will help.
