Default Odd intergeneric crosses

I was curious if anybody has every made successful odd intergeneric crosses, while playing around on RHS site I noticed that somebody registered a cross of Bulbophyllum putidum with Dendrobium Anucha Flare. When you register a plant don't you have to send in a picture of it's bloom? If so is there a way to get a photo of this cross? Is this really possible(the cross between dendrob. and bulbo.)? And what other cross generic's like this are there? http://www.orchidboard.com/community...cratchhead.gif

bulbophylums and dendrobiums belong to the same subfamily, so they're close enough that a cross is possible. it rarely works, though. the more distantly related two plants are, the less likely you are to have a successful cross.
