A month ago, I saw 6 flask with Phal tetraspis X Phal violacea on P668 media... following your instruction... so far I got 4 contamination, 2 are germinating.... next time, I will use your method but in a glove box to increase the chance of succes! Thanks! ;-)

Remember that the primary source of contamination is our breath, our hair. The glove box is fine.

Sophronitis coccinea


Bletilla striata alba


Epidendrum radicans

Thats amazing! I've just sowed the traditional way in a glove box, next time I'm trying this method!

for replanting, no more than 2.30 hours
avoid browning of some leaves, and the plants will start soon

i have been doing some den seeds last weekend
if i new this sooner.i could give it a try :-(

but i have a question on your post in the past on your
Pollinate tips
i have been having good success on hand pollinate on all my orchid flower
but there one that will not work
Psychopsis Papilion?

Just found five flasks with contamination.
I tried this bleach fumes technique, exposing the five flask 30 minutes to fumes. We'll see if it works. If it does, I've a lot of photos to post!
