Onc. warmingii - climbing wet lithophyte

Hi, I'm struggling to figure out how to keep this plant. I've had it a year and it's growing but I can't quite figure out what conditions it would really like.

The problem: it's a climbing or trailing, lithophytic or terrestrial plant that grows in continuously wet conditions (no real dry rest.)

If you google it and look at images, you'll see it grows in large clumps on the grounds.

Mounting is one solution but this isn't an epiphyte so that's an imperfect fix. The plant isn't small, so if I lay it across a pot filled with gravel and bark and such, it's going to take up a huge amount of space when it's actually not a very substantial plant. My hope is to not have to bury the back half of the plant in mix.

Any thoughts? And photos of a growing situation of any trailing lithophyic plant, much appreciated.
