amac Introduction
Hi all!
I have always loved building and maintaining vivariums and reef tanks. Due to a recent relocation following the start of graduate school, I am now living in a space that does not allow an non dog or cat critters inside. I decided to set up a 33 gallon terrarium with mini/micro orchids and some epiphytic ferns in May 2018 so that i would have something green to look at this winter. It has started to fill in nicely! As far as orchids, my terrarium currently houses: Ascocentrum pumilum Barbosella dunsenii (2) Dryadella cristata Drydella zebrina (2) Masdevallia minuta Masdevallia nidifica (3) Pleurothallis grobyi 'Small' form (4) I also have an Oncidium (Tolumnia) velutinum and a Restrepia brachypus that did not fit in the terrarium and now live on the windowsill. I have been lurking on these forums for a while now and figured it was time to contribute. Looking forward to some good discussion and sharing of orchid pictures! |
Welcome! Glad you're here.

Sounds like a great project. I have a twenty-two gallon tank and it filled up fast.
