Rhyncholaelia / Brassavola digbyana outdoors in southern California

Would thiis grow well and bloom well outdoors on a tree in southern California, not too far inland?

The probability looks good, except for the rest temps. I believe in winter temps are lower than 80's F.

LIGHT: 2500-4000 fc. (can tolerate high light)

TEMPERATURES: Summer days average 87–88F (31C), and nights average 75F (24C), with a diurnal range of 12F (7C).

HUMIDITY: Near 80% year-round.

WATER: Rainfall is moderate to heavy most of the year with a 2-3 month slightly drier period in late winter and early spring. Cultivated plants should be watered heavily while actively growing; but the roots must always dry rapidly after watering.

REST PERIOD: Winter days average 81–82F (27–28C), and nights average 67–69F (19–21C), with a diurnal range of 13–14F (7–8C).

Thank you. I've been in habitat on the Yucatan Peninsula. Winter days and nights can be quite a bit cooler than that. It also grows very well in southern Florida, where again winter temperatures can be quite a bit lower, day and night. Also relative humidity in both places can be very much lower than 80%.

I was wondering whether OB members from California have any direct experience with this species outdoors.
