Share what you did to your orchid collection today!

Today I watered my Paphiopedilum and ordered Dendrobium Rigidum and Pachyphyllum. Probably arriving Tuesday-Thursday.

Well, I did nothing...I'm away from home during this weekend.

I've taken pictures of it !

Checked my Catasetum types for new growth - about half are waking up.

Looked at everything.

I watered a bunch of them yesterday. I haven't done a thing for them today. I will water later pulling off some dry stuff and generally poking at them till they hate me.

Watered all the mounted plants that needed it, took some "in progress" photos of an Fdk. in the process of blooming, sprayed another plant with a rubbing alcohol mix 'cause it keeps having small outbreaks of mealies and I'm hoping I can wipe them out, checked on whether some struggling phals needed a misting (not today).

Repotting some things today, and more watering. Setting more rodent traps and emptying one of them.

Today I simply enjoyed them. I have several in bloom and my Butterwort is going to show me its first flower soon. I grow a few CP’s with my orchids. I have a new Dendrobium linguiforme, actually two plants, and my son went out in the ice storm and found a nice piece of wood for a mount for me!

It is a very ugly day here so nice to be inside enjoying such beautiful plants!

Fungus gnats are driving me crazy so I sprinkled more mosquito bites in the plant/orchid pots. I watered all the mounted orchids, checked and sprayed the roots of all orchids moved into red lava rock in the past couple of months and that was it.

My Butterworts are covered in fungus gnats and blooming like crazy. They also need divided again. I am glad to hear yours will be blooming. I really like the flowers. :)
