Grammatophyllum question

I'm new here
I got a grammatophyllum scriptum hihimannu couple weeks ago and has been sitting at my window sill due to the cold weather in southern Texas.
and finally this week the weather starts getting warmer with sunshine; however, my grammatophyllum was doing fine until the warm day 70~55F.
I found it starts having brown leaves all over the top (it looks like the sun burnt where ever is not covered), I think it is sunburn, but not so sure because it was a warm day not a hot day, and other cattleya and vanda, even my ctsm witchcraft were doing pretty good.
furthermore, I read a lot of info they all suggest gramma can grow in full sun happily so is it somekind of cold damage, rot or infection?

I hope someone can give me some advices, very appreciated, and happy new year.

Did the areas bleach out and turn white initially? If so, this is a classic characteristic of sunburn.

If the damage seems to spread, then it is much more likely to be something like a form of rot (and should be removed). If it appears stable, then it could have been sunburn, or something external like cold (although that's outside my experience).

Keep in mind that changes in growing condition can take a toll on plants. Even if the plant CAN (eventually) grow in full sun, it might take some time to transition to increased light levels, if it's previously been grown in shade.

I just had a Grammatophyllum scriptum go through the same thing (when I forgot to bring a division I made inside, and it sat in the sun all day). The plant lost most of it's leaves, but has a new growth forming and I expect it will be fine. I hope yours bounces back just the same.

so far it doesn't get worse after I move it a bit away from the window.
but I don't see leaves bleach out and turn white, neither turning black or yellow.
I'll keep an eye on it hopefully it is just sunburn

Sunburn. It's been grown in a lot of shade. It takes a while to adapt to more sun.

When I got it from the nursery it was sitting in filtered light not even bright
