Phaleanopsis with dark green patches?
2 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone! I have a phaleanopsis orchid with dark green patches and I'm not sure if it's a disease or pest, but it's kinda scaring me. I always wash my hands when I touch a different orchid. The second problem is these tiny whitey/ green spots. Is that a concern? Please help me!🤤

I'm not sure. The red edges on the undersides of the leaf looks normal. Caused by bright sun exposure. Perhaps check the roots? The leaf looks dehydrated.

Hi aileenmadrigal, I agree the plant is very dehydrated. Either you aren't watering enough, or the roots are dead, which usually happens from overwatering.
Here is a good thread on growing Phals: The Phal abuse ends here. |
