Orchid Auction August 10, 2017

North Jersey Orchid Society’s summer orchid auction is August 10, 2017 at The Hanover Manor, 16 Eagle Rock Avenue, East Hanover NJ at 7:45 PM. Plants may be previewed starting at 6 PM; and there is an optional buffet dinner ($20) at 7 PM. Everyone is welcome – the auction is open to the public.
The auction includes plants for the selective grower as well as the hobbyist. There will be species, hybrids, miniatures, near blooming size, blooming size and specimen orchid plants. Most plants offered can be grown in your home on a windowsill. Frequently, private growers donate plants that are not often available anywhere else. A preliminary list of plants will be published on the North Jersey Orchid Society website (North Jersey Orchid Society | An Affiliate of the American Orchid Society) approximately 1 week prior to the auction.

The North Jersey Orchid Society is New Jersey’s largest and oldest orchid society, and is dedicated to the appreciation and conservation of orchids and to fostering the art of orchid growing. Major society events include monthly meetings, two orchid auctions a year, an annual show, and other events organized by our members. Everyone is welcome at the monthly meetings.
