Should I divide my Angraecums or just repot?

I live in South Africa & have 5 fairly large Angraecums . They all have fairly well established new growths , should i divide these from the main plant or just repot them & leave them as one plant ? I can't seem to find any information about this anywhere ?

If you have space, leave them alone.

Specimen plants are always more spectacular.

I don't know if this is true but I have heard some/all Angraecoids have sensitive roots and take a long time to re-establish.

Don't mess with a good thing!

If you want to sell orchids it is advisable to take a couple of growths and repot. But it would be magnificent to see a full bouquet of blooms in a very large pot.... (keikis) form at the base of the stem and can either be divided from the parent plant once they have at least three roots of their own or alternatively, left on the plant these will make a stunning specimen as when mature will produce blooms with the parent plant - many award winning angraecum are grown as such.

You're heading into winter... don't know how cold it gets where you live, but it's better to divide warm growers in the spring or summer.
