Gravel and clay pot are perfect! These do not really like their roots disturbed and bark or moss eventually decompose. Orchids like air to their roots and clay pots breathe well. I would leave it in that medium and pot. I grow mine in red lava rock.
Watering will depend on the size of the pot, the size of the gravel and your conditions. If the medium stays too damp and this prevents the air from reaching the roots, the roots will rot.
For light, it depends on how warm your temperatures are. If it is very hot, these do better in bright shade. If it is comfortable (perhaps with air conditioning), they like a sunny window. They would not likely fare well outside in full sun for an entire day, regardless of temperature.
These require temperatures above 16'C. I am not sure what the upper limit is but they have fared well for me, in shade, at 35'C.
I have never found these to be very fussy about humidity.
When they are actively growing, fertilize about once a week with half the recommended dose.
These often bloom on leafless canes as well as the ones with leaves so never remove a green, leafless cane.
Good luck!
