does anybody know how long from the flower buds getting some colour to opening is?

It can be slow, I would say at least a couple more weeks for those :tapfoot:

Oh yes, looks close from that angle. It will probably take a day or two to open.

Is it open yet? Be interesting to compare to my 'Ponkan' and see how different this line is.

no :) under some diy lights, the reflectors are made from white round plastic guttering. the lights are t5 under cabinet link lights with 6500k tubes afaik. the chains there are just for moving the lights up and down.

most of my species phals are on the shelving with the lights. the new leaves on violacea etc are a nice light apple green colour so hopefully theyre bright enough.
