I think my aclandiae likes me too!

When i got home today and i went to water my orchids my eye caught these little buds on my Cattleya aclandiae. I think my Catt made them secretly because i didn't notice them earlier. And there are three!! I really think he/she likes me...:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

I would say it certainly likes you! 3 buds is pretty darn good. I only had 1 on mine. Baker's culture sheets say these buds develop while still inside the folded leaf so they do sort of appear out of nowhere once the leaves spread open.

I will! I think they develop rather quickly, so wouldn't be to long...

I do too! And they make really nice plants, compact and even growth's!

3?! You certainly are doing something very right because 3 flowers is not all that common w/this species. I don't think I've ever seen a 3 flowered spike in person...just pictures. Well done! :Tup:
