Maxillaria tenuifolia

I purchased the above captioned orchid in snag moss or so I thought. When I cut off the plastic container to transplant in S/H, I discovered it was so root bound I was in shock. There was some snag-moss but very very little. I removed what moss I could, however, there were so many roots, I was damaging them. So I went ahead and planted it in S/H. Will it be okay with some of the moss still intertwined? Ruthann
