Dendrobium NOID
Hi all,
I recieved this one as a gift from my wife's orchid growing family member in the Dominican Republic. It was tiny little thing and a 4 years later I finally got the message (thank you Orchid Board) that it should get a rest period. So from November till late February I stopped watering, occasionally misting the exposed roots from time to time. The result was 9 blooms. The blooms don't seem to open all the way, not sure if its supposed to be like that or not. The flowers have a faint raspberry scent. I've had so much luck with Dendrobiums this year that they are quickly becoming a favourite alliance of mine. Can anyone ID this? http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3733/1...fe6951d8c9.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7408/1...f9ece41a26.jpg http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2020/1...5549e1c047.jpg |
