Fragrant NOID phal.
 

Never sure where to post my new NOIDS.


Got this guy today at Trader Joe's. Very round wide leaves, but not very long.
Small mini flowers on three upright stems.
Leaves are a lighter more apple green than most of my phals.
The petals are lightly.... barred? Spotted? With red, the same red as on the lip.
The flowers open with a yellow tint before fading to white.

The fragrance. It's nice and strong. A very sweet floral lemony smell.
I'm very much enjoying it.

The fragrance is so strong during the day! I can smell it from my bed!
That's strong for any of my phals. It's consistent too. Same strength and scent from sunrise till sunset

I got a whiff of a fragrant Phal for this first time today! It was a (get ready) phal canyon red hot sun x hilltops jewel 'dazzling' and it smelled like licorice or anise.

Hooray for fragrance!

I'm in awe of how strong the scent is.
My other phals I can only smell if I'm within a foot radius at the most. This one I can smell from several feet away.








Me too! I spotted it from a distance and said "that one looks potentially fragrant". Which they almost never are.


Ooh. I would love one that smells like licorice! I love licorice, and anise.

I didn't see it in the store, but it's pretty apparent in my house. Weird streaking going on with its leaves.
I'm gonna keep watch on it, but the smallest leaf looks kind of unhealthy.
It's got nice roots...

The fragrance smells most like sweet lavender rose.
That lemony fragrance.
