Dendrobium Alexanderae X den. hendersonii in bloom. Fragrant species!
2 Attachment(s)
You may remember me posting about my trip to Raleigh, NC where I met this species. Bought my own, with a spike, and it has just started to bloom. Had to wait until the blooms turned yellow, because they start off green. My whole orchid room smells of this beauty. 2 more spikes will be opening within the next few weeks.

Very nice, Bulbofett.
Your plant is extremely similar to Dendrobium alexandrae. I can see no influence of hendersonii. For your comparison here is my D. alexandrae from 2 years ago. The scent is remarkable, like honey candles. |
Gorgeous! Merry Christmas!
