Psychopsis Mendenhall 'Hildos' bloom

When I got home from work yesterday, the flower had fallen off. It opened on the 17th of July and fell off on Aug. 2nd. I don't know if that is the average life span of a Psychopsis flower or if mine died prematurely. It was beautiful while it lasted and the next bud is already swelling. :D Can't wait until it flowers again.

Yes, that can be normal for some environments. 2-4 weeks. Maybe the next one will last longer! I find that when open opens, I'm best not to disturb or move it etc if I can avoid it.

They are sequential bloomers so hopefully you won't have to wait too long for more blooms.
