Rhyncostylis gigantea alba and spots

These two Rhyncostylis also went home with me. One is the alba type and the other one is spotted (I think the smallest one is the alba form).
I've got them potted in course medium (bark, leca, coco nut husk), but perhaps would they do better bare rooted, like a Vanda? Can anyone give me a tip on growing these? The is no sign of earlier flowerings. I can't detect any cut spikes, but from the size (specially the big one) I'd say they're blooming size, aren't they?

Your instincts are right to put them in a coarse media mix.
They are both blooming sized. The bigger one judging by the size of your arm(have more than 10 large long leaves!)should have bloomed already....
the leaves are clean and the right shade of green; meaning it got the correct lighting.
The alba is starting to have cold water spots, make sure that it doesn't catch fungi infestation.

Thank you Bud. I'll give it an antifungal treatment.
