Dracula Citrina new chid
 

I have one coming this week. Does anyone have experience with this plant?

I don't have experience with this particular one, but are you looking for general Dracula or more specific species information?

I found some general culture info IOSPE PHOTOS
- cool to cold growing, low light; being from cloud forest, high humidity.

Hope someone else can help more specifically - it's a cutie!

Thank you for the responses! I have never owned a Drac before. We have relatively cool weather and a bit of humidity. This is one species I'd like to "specialize" in, or better "devote my time" with.
I have done some searching on the web and I was interested to see if anyone had any tips or tricks with this species. Any wisdom you might want to impart would be much appreciated!

Many of the larger Draculas take a lot of space and need to be grown in hanging baskets because their spikes go down through the media, though I don't that's the case with this one. High humidity is also crucial especially with the larger species since the flowers will not open otherwise.

This Drac is a little guy. He looks really healthy and seems to like the green house setup. I need to get some pictures tomorrow.

I am now the proud owner of D. vampira as well. I am so excited!
