Anybody dealt with Lois Duffin Orchids (PA)?
 

I found this nursery's website, and they have a few plants I'm interested in. I tried emailing a couple months ago, and no response. So I called them last week, told them (talked to a person) what I was interested in and gave them my email and number, and no response. Granted Philadelphia was impacted by Sandy, so I have no problem with 'we'll get back when we can', but a response would be nice. Has anybody here ever dealt with them?
(The person I spoke with told me one of the plants was a large mature specimen so shipping would be high, but that's okay and I know from selling expensive fragile statuary that shipping can be outrageous.)

I have never heard of them but if you are trying to buy something and they aren't helpful...imagine if there is a problem!

Lois and Jim are members of SEPOS, and some of the nicest, most knowledgeable orchid people you'll ever meet, but they are "getting up there" in years.

If they have not responded, I'd bet they lost the contact info, or are still dealing with Sandy recovery issues.

If they have something of interest, I suggest you try contacting them again.
