Posting photos?
 

Could someone please tell me how to post photos with a thread. There does not seem to be anywhere to click to add images. I noticed that using Flickr has been mentioned, but Flickr seems to require that you have a Yahoo account which I do not.

It was not too long ago I was asking the same question.

First, you are going to need at least 5 postings before you can do anything with photos.

As far as actually posting photos there are instructions in the Welcome Forum. Look under "About this board" and find the "Tips for posting Photos".

I have only attached images to my postings so far so I know those instructions work.

You can use the "attachment " button (paperclip) above the text box

With flickr, you can also use your google account (gmail) or facebook if you use either. I use my gmail account.

Another good one is Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket.

Thanks, friends, for your replies. I was successful in uploading photos from my computer. I have a problem with black marks on cattleya leaves, so I posted an inquiry on Posts and Diseases.
