Vanda lilacina
 

I love these little guys! Small sized Vanda, with small flowers that pack a punch!

The color on these flowers are more than I expected for the species.

Although it is white, it has wonderful lilac tips on the sepals and petals.

Another thing I didn't expect were the fullness of the petals and sepals. They were not ever at any point in the flower's lives thin and wispy. They've maintained their round shapes all throughout the life of the blooms.

These are fragrant and smell of perfume.

Apparently V. lilacina has quite a bit of variation to it, probably depending on the locale. Most of the photos I've seen of V. lilacina have petals where the edges recurve back making them look narrow.

Interesting species.
