Yeesh, it's been a long time since I was on here! I've got a few photos to share, but I thought I'd start with the pleiones. The first one (Oriental Splendour) came out around the second week in March, so quite early. The second, Tongariro, came out a few days ago.

Unfortunately, my camera has done a good job of washing out a lot of the colour. Oriental Splendour is a pale lavendar colour while the Tongariro is an amazing vibrant pink

...and you've got to love the way you can start off with four bulbs (like I did) and in a couple of years be over-run by them! ;)

Wow, those are pretty. I can't imagine the real thing if these pictures make them look gorgeous!

Wow, looks great! These are cold tolerant right? Or do you bring them in for the winter?

I put them outside here once frost threats are gone and keep them outside until they die back in late autumn. Once the leaves have died and the bulbs are dormant, they get put in an egg box in the bottom of my larder, which is dark and cold (though just above freezing), over winter. I guess some people may leave them outside, but then there's the risk of the bulbs rotting if not protected
