Trichopilia suavis and Charles

Trichopilia suavis has been here several times. This is a nearly white form. You can see the faint spots after a little photoshopping to bring out colours. The sweet scent in the morning is overwhelming. The second one is Trichopilia Charles (suavis x marginata).

Glad you like it.
And for you, nenella, I have good news. I bought the white Trichopilia suavis at the booth of Karge 4 weeks ago in Neu-Ulm. There were more plants on the table at the end of sales. Price was 40 Euro. Try to contact them:

The other, Charles, was on the market 2 years back. Maybe they are still available at Roellke:

Very beautiful!! I have one too, but has barely bloomed for me. How much light are you giving yours?

Trichopilias love a bright place to do well. In wintertime I sometimes place them between pots of cattleyas, in summertime they stand under the bench of cattleyas, where it is a bit cooler and moister.

Thank you. Do you think that eastern exposure is enough, or do they need that mid day sun?
I was also wondering if they are sensitive to water quality????
