Sobralia crocea

I bought this plant from equadorquideas last spring tagged Sobralia concimilis. I haven't seen flowers opening more than 3 millimeters, thus looking more like a berry than a flower. Couldn't find a description of this particular species, so if you have any further information, please help. I know here are some experts.

I'm not sure if Sobralia concimilis is a valid name...

The plant does look like a Sobralia crocea though.

Solved. It is Sobralia crocea. Thanks, King.

If you follow Leslie A. Garay and separate this Sobralia from crocea, then it is the 1978 described Sobralia persimilis Latin for very similar).

I found Sobralia crocea in OrchidWiz, but no concimilis. The photo in Orchid Wiz looks similar to the posted photos. Some OrchidWiz photo show the flower open a little bit.

I met Alex Portilla from ecuagenera last spring at the EOC in Budapest and asked him. He answered that one species is from the north, the other from the south of his country. Sobralia crocea opens the flowers a bit more than Sobralia persimilis. But is this reason enough to describe a new species?

Nice colours, but does it open more than that?
