Oncidium Twinkle 'White Shower'
 

Hey everyone, it's me again. You're friendly OB buyer without knowing cultural details again, lol...

I'd like to know what to pot this particular orchid in, watering requirements, temperature, etc... Anything you can provide would be extremely helpful! I've already read that they seem to be prone to root rot from another poster about the Twinkle variety.

I just brought home a Twinkle 'Fantasy'. They are quite exquisite, aren't they?

I have Onc. ornithorhynchum, one of the parents of Twinkle. It doesn't like to dry out fast, so I have it in a finer mix, similar to what Paphs grow in. They do like quite a bit of water, and I generally go by the new bulbs to judge it. Basically I water when they start to show very slight wrinkles. Light and temperature wise, it grows with my Phals.

I was wondering about how much water they should truly get because my pbulbs are kind of shriveled. I bought it on a discount rack where they were not being taken care of very well. Thank you for the information guys. I will take all of this into consideration.

Old bulbs are not a really good indicator though, since if they were badly shriveled at one point, they usually are never smooth again. That's why I go by the newest bulbs.
