Dirt on blooms
 

Hi, I just received an order of plants today (Dens) and a small amount of the potting media had spilled out onto the flowers.I tried to brush it off but to no avail. Can I use a gentle spray of water or will that destroy them?Thanks for the help.....Jean

Try a puff of air using a straw. It works to get water out of phal tops.

I use my mother's make up brush (the stuff she never uses anymore cause its so old)...and dust the petals gently

Thanks for the input guys, I didnt have a straw. I suppose I could have roled up a paper and tried that but didnt think of that till just this minute. BUT I did have a makeup brush, worked perfectly!!
