Wonder why this got reclassified into it's own genus, it really does look like a masdie! What kind of set up do you have for all of these obligate cool growers? You don't have trouble with them in the summer? I know the northwest is cooler, but you must have some hot summer days.

They are tiny compared to most Masdevallias and there are some botanical differences as well that relate especially to the lip structure and column. A few hybrids have been made with Masdevallia, so they are closely related.
