I love this species. It's a successive bloomer so it gives good value for the limited space I have.

I grow it with my paphs (3-4 feet from a 4-light T5 light fixture) in a clay pot with osmunda as the potting mix. I water to keep moist never dry. I fertilize weakly weekly (125-150 ppm of a urea-free fertilizer). The summer temps. are ~85F daytime and ~65F night time with winter 5-10F cooler.

So it is just about an intermediate grower. Such a beautiful flower, I wonder why it is not more often found in collections.

I need to get one of them but they run at about $45 in average. I might just break down and get it.
