Bulbophyllum guttalatum
I received this last year from a friend at our Orchid Society. This is the first flowering for me. As you can see there are two spikes and at least five new pseudo bulbs. I don't detect any odor so far. It currently is in a 3" pot of bark/CHC

Nice one, Howard! Looks pretty happy with all those new growths, too... :)

Thanks, Nat. One of these days you and I are going to have to compare Bulbophyllum lists and exchange some plants...

thats a beautiful plant, interesting flowers

Sure thing! I've acquired more species recently and my collection is frankly getting a little ridiculous for the space. This spring it's going to get even worse, since Carolina Orchids is a vendor at our March show, Bill Thoms is our scheduled speaker for April, and I have a few species coming in from Taiwan. So yeah, I might have some things to trade around... :)

Amazing. Such a showy bloom and I love the way they all line up. Bulbos are so cool.
Nice growing. -J |
Gorgeous!! Very nice form on the plant itself too.

It seem easy to have a flower. Cute and lovely. I do not have this bulb. I am not sure it can growth well in low land.
