L alaorii is a small and easy to grow orchid, but it requires a bit more moisture than the Cattleyas in general (I simply use sphagnum as a substrate and give the same treatment that I give to Cattleya). The perfume is very soft, almost absent.

That is beautiful. It almost looks waxy in the photo. Such a nice soft pink. Great growing!

Very pretty orchid. I love the whole display with the moss covered pot and the compact foliage. I'll have to get one of those.

Beautiful. A lot of alaorii's have a pasty, washed-out color. (Kinda like the one I recently got rid of.) Nice to see one like this!

It is lovely - I especially like picture #3.

They also tend not to open very fully. This is probably the best I have seen for that, and for color. Very nice indeed.

Hi friends!

Alaorii's tendency to no open very fully and pale color: of course, genetics is main factor, but you can try to give them lots of light and humidity (a combination that's not easy to achieve), it's possible that the shape and color of the flowers will improve a little!

What a lovely, well grown plant. The color combination between the leaf and the bloom is super. What ties it all up to perfection is the moss covered clay pot.
