Not an orchid, but a lily
 

okay guys, ive got another one for ya! my neihbor just moved to florida, and gave me this lily, but she didnt know what it was, and i dont either. i have no idea how to take care of it. if someone could just gie me a name, so that i can google culture, that would be great! thanks alot :)

Belamcanda chinensis - Leopard Lily, or Blackberry Lily.

Belamcanda chinensis was correct, and though the common name is lily it has always been recognized as in the Iris family, and recently reclassified as Iris domestica based on DNA evidence.

Thanks for the information update! All I could remember is Leopard Lily; I should have looked a little further down on the google list. I enjoy learning new taxonomy, though I can't always keep it straight....

i googled culture for it but all i got was for a normal or japanese iris, do you think that would be the same for this? or not?

Did you search for Belamcanda culture? It is still best known under that name. I don't think it has any unusual requirements, so any (mostly) sunny spot in the garden that isn't particularly wet or dry should be fine in your zone.
