Hey, I celebrated Earth Day at a live Melissa Ethridge mini concert and mini fair held in LA for an Earth Day run.

Yeah it was! I don't go to concerts often (mini or full blown ones, doesn't matter). This time I lucked out.

Of course, in "plant geek" (aficionado) fashion I went to a booth that was selling water filters. :biggrin:

I didn't do the run, though. But someone I met there said she had seen Lindsay Lohan doing the run.

Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy was there too for a brief showing (introducing Melissa Ethridge onto the stage).

I think I may have run across another celebrity who was there (an athlete though), not sure who she was (my guess is Gabriel Reese, not sure).

This one's an obscure "celeb" (or should I say - "anti-celeb" ;)), but if any of you all happened to have caught a very brief showing of a Comedy Central movie back in somewhere around 2005 called "Windy City Heat", I saw Perry Caravello (aka Scary Perry) there too. Perry was the "star" of the show (man, this is messed up - I don't know how to describe this without sounding like a prick when I don't intend to be, it's just the way the movie/mockumentary went). He was in the crowd (it'd be like a "Where's Waldo" thing if you could find him :)).

I had a good time, it was pretty chill on a nice sunny day.

Being in LA I bet you see lots of celebs. That's pretty neat! I would have been the geek next to you looking at water filters! hehehe!

In ordinary everyday life, no, I actually don't.

At special events, or at work (I'm an actor), there's obviously no avoiding them.

Oh, that's right! I read a thread about you, you were in Pirates, right? That is so cool! My favorite movie (all 3 of them)!
