Cattleya Skinneri Alba and Jacobs
 

I have a Cattleya Skinneri Alba and Jacobs that currently have sheaths growing. But from what I'm reading on numerous sites the bloom time for the skinneri species are in spring. Does this mean that my skinneris wont flower this year? What will happen to the sheaths that are currently there? Anything I can do to make sure they bloom properly?

Any help and information is appreicated. Thanks!:)

Actually I also have an Cattleya Aurentiaca on the same boat as the skinneris.

the plant itself will decide when it wants to bloom...the sheath will remain until time to bloom, just take good general care of the plant, and let it do its thing.....

Hmmm?? I guess that's just what I should do. Hopefully at least one of them will bloom.
