V. Pat Delight 'Dark Blue'
 

If you like blues like I do, this is an Orchid to get. This is a first bloom for this Vanda which I obtained from Carmela Orchids. The huge flowers with a natural spread of 5 inches are dark blue with darker blue tessellations. There are ten flowers and two buds on the single inflorescence.

I have bought a couple vandas from Carmela and they have been very nice, healthy plants.

Beautiful vanda. I like the roundness of the flowers. :)

In my opinion, Vandas are not blue. I still think coerulea and its hybrids are more of a lavender color.

V Pat Delight (don't know of any cultivar name) is my favorite Vanda...it's gorgeous and mine also holds special meaning. The one I have is a bright pink rather than blue.

Intense color alright! Wonder how close the color in the pic. is really the color of the bloom in person. Would be great in any collection.
