Encyclia gallopavina, a Brazilian seldom seen species
This is a Brazilian species native of the northern and central areas. This very little known species, rarely seen in shows and collections, has relatively small flowers of 1" across. The lip has a very characteristic purple mark encircled by a yellow band. The plant has purplish pseudo-bulbs and leaves which turn dark green-purple as they age.

Definitely have not heard of this one before Mauro. She looks awesome though, I especially like the colour!

Really nice. Love the splash of pink on the lip.

Nice, very unusual undulating petals. Never heard of it before.

It is lovely.
The plant looks very like that of Encyclia randii. |
This also looks a lot like the Encyclia tampensis I found in Florida.
