Wrinkling Odontocidium bulbs

I just got this Odontocidium a couple of weeks ago from a Trader Joe's. I have it about 6 feet away from a west facing window in the "hot" room of my apartment. Really, it just doesn't get access to the air conditioner, so it's hot for a few hours in the afternoon during the summer. The thermometer has said it's about 85 - 90 F. I'm watering it weekly and misting the medium/roots at least once during the morning and once in the afternoon if it's hot.

The bulbs were not wrinkly when I got it, and now I am definitely seeing some wrinkling in all of them. It's not major, but it's definitely there. Is this a water issue? Heat issue? Light issue?

It's a lack of water issue. Basically the heat is causing too much evaporation too quickly for this plants taste. The pbulbs are where this orchid stores it's water. When it gets hot and water is scarce, the bulbs wrinkle or alligator. I'd give it a bit more water during the summer hot months. I've been giving my Onc. a bit more too lately.

Awesome, thank you. I'll step it up to twice a week while it's hot like this.
