Waxing Orchid Flowers
 

I thought I would shoot this question out there to all you Phalaenopsis enthusiasts . Has anyone ever tried to wax an orchid flower ? If so , how is it done and what kind of experiences you have had trying to do them ?

I absolutely love the orchid flowers of the phals and thought it would be really special to preserve some of their beauty . I know they do last a long time on the plants but I thought if it was possible to give them immortality , it would be worth the effort .

Any input would be greatly appreciated .
